• I will arrive in Siena in the morning. Can I come and leave my luggage?
This is possible between 9:00 and 12:00.

  • Can we leave our luggage somewhere on the day of departure, after check-out?
You can leave it with us until 12:00. After 12:00 you can use the paid luggage storage service in nearby Via di Calzoleria 13.

  • Is a late check-out possible?
You need to request it before arrival so we can check room availability and calculate the extra fee.

  • Can we reach you by car?
No, not even to unload luggage, because the street in front of AmiRooms is a very strict Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL), where not even taxis may enter.

  • What is the nearest parking area?
Stadio Fortezza (paid) or Il Campino (free).

  • How do I call a taxi from the parking?
You can use the TAXI Move App or call Radio Taxi at +39 0577 49222

  • I will rent a bicycle. Is there a safe place to leave it? Even in the room if that’s not a problem.
We don’t have a bike storage area, and leaving it in the building courtyard is not allowed. You may keep it in the room as long as it is clean. The most suitable rooms, because they are more spacious, are the Comfort and Superior.

  • Do the same parking rules for cars apply to motorcycles?
Yes. Additionally, there is a motorcycle parking area 500 meters away in Piazza Matteotti.

  • I’m arriving by train. What’s the best way to reach you?
By taxi to 40 meters from us (Piazza Tolomei or Croce de’ Travaglio). By bus to Piazza Gramsci or Piazza del Sale and then walk. On foot you can take the escalators inside the Porta Siena shopping mall in front of the station. It takes about 20/30 minutes.

  • How do I get the room key? Will someone greet me or will you send me a code?
Check-in is from 15:00. You will receive a code to enter.

  • I read that AmiRooms is on the 5th floor of a historic building. Is there an elevator?
Yes, there is an elevator. It is external. Select the third floor; once you arrive, there is a short flight of stairs going down to reach the guesthouse entrance. Be careful if you suffer from vertigo, as the elevator is open-view, including the grate separating it from the stairwell.

  • I understand that you don’t serve breakfast. Are there cafés nearby?
There are many cafés nearby for an Italian-style or more substantial breakfast. The closest one is across the street: Bar Pasticceria Nannini.

  • Are pets allowed?
    No.

  • Do you have rooms with twin beds?
We have two in the Comfort category.

  • Are we really that close to Piazza del Campo?
    Yes!

  • Is it possible to add an extra bed in the room?
No. Alternatively, you can book one more room. The guest must be an adult. We do not host children.

  • Is there a hairdryer in the room?
    Yes, inside the wardrobe.

  • I want to do laundry. Is there a washing machine/dryer I can use?
No, but there are two self-service laundromats nearby: one in Via Pantaneto 44 and one in Via della Sapienza 12.

  • Everything looks brand new here. Is that true?
Yes. I opened in May 2024 after a full top-to-bottom renovation.

  • We heard people singing and playing drums in the street after dinner. Why is that?
Ah! Come to Reception and I’ll tell you everything. For now, know that this happens in the days following the Palio and up until the Victory Dinner, more or less.

  • Can I find needle and thread, a bread knife, wine glasses, a corkscrew, an iron and ironing board?
You can request the needle and thread, bread knife, and iron/ironing board at Reception when needed.
Wine glasses and a corkscrew are available in the room.
